Released in 1995(!) this is the “real” first digital SLR camera from Minolta. The Minolta RD-175 aka Agfa Actioncam, cost just $10,000 but who is counting? The specs:

  • 1.1 Mega Pixels (maybe better to measure in KP?)
  • Fixed at ISO 800
  • 131MB PCMCIA memory (114 shots)
  • less than .5 frame/sec shooting speed
  • Can only be connected to a Mac with a unique SCSI-2 cable

They occasionally appear on eBay but unless you are a true collector I am not sure if anyone would actually buy one given the price. An interesting piece of history no doubt.
